MK2 Advanced Construction Solution

The MK2 Advanced Construction Solution, based on reinforced concrete, produces a three-dimensional structural framework of high earthquake-resistant mechanical capacity and thermo-acoustic insulation that enables the solving of enclosure, divisions, structure and insulation (acoustic and thermal) of various types, covering all kinds of constructions with maximum efficiency.

It is a solution capable of combining economy, speed of execution and logistical efficiency of the construction process, guaranteeing high quality standards and incomparable environmental comfort.

Our solution is based on a set of corrugated expanded polystyrene structural panels, with a basic reinforcement, attached to the faces, consisting of high-strength steel mesh and corrugated bars, linked together by electro-welded steel connectors.

These panels are placed on site according to the arrangement of walls, partitions and slabs that the architectural or engineering project in question presents.

The MK2 Advanced Construction Solution combines traditional reinforced concrete with a high-density expanded polystyrene (EPS) core that considerably lightens and improves the insulation performance of the concrete.

The System is based on reinforced concrete elements arranged in the three spatial directions, obtaining structures with great structural and anti-seismic qualities.

Fire resistance

The EPS used in this System, which is enclosed between two layers of reinforced concrete, is self-extinguishing and does not spread flames. This enables fire resistance values of over 180 minutes.
