Our construction solution has been used by the certified installation company Eco Global Homes to enclose the shafts of 14 lifts in a residential complex in Rota (Cádiz). Specifically, our system of expanded polystyrene (EPS) structural panels and double galvanised steel reinforcement has been used. Once the panels have been installed and the concrete has been sprayed on both sides, the result is a monolithic and resistant construction with an insulating core that acts as a barrier against humidity and avoids thermal bridges.

The solution has been perfectly integrated into the refurbished building, with the advantage of not placing excessive stress on its structure and foundations.

Once again the MK2 system proves to be a very suitable solution for both new constructions and renovations, both in predominantly horizontal constructions with one or two floors as well as in vertical developments of multi-storey buildings.

In addition, the insulation provided by the MK2 panel is very efficient. This is an advantage when applying for grants offered by public administrations for energy rehabilitation, such as the Energy Rehabilitation Programme for Buildings (PREE) whose call for applications is open through the Andalusian Energy Agency (Junta de Andalucía). This aid offers a base incentive of 35% of the investment, but depending on various parameters it can reach 85%.
